「神々の草原　トリニティ」

人は遠い昔の原人の頃から絵を描いてきた。

暗い洞窟になぜ動物たちを描いたのか。

食欲だけならば食べられない動物は描かないはずだ。

福島の夜明けから夜の闇へ。

原人達から見た命への畏怖。

核時代の始まりから未来へ。

多重に時は流れ、駆けぬけてゆく。

「トリニティ（三位一体）」　という副題をつけた。

人類最初の核実験の名前だ。

こんな「トリニティ」はいらない。

古代、今、共に生きている動物や植物など、

生きゆくすべての命への讃歌を謳いたい。

Prairie of the Gods, Trinity

Humans have been drawing pictures since the time of hominins in the distant past.

Why did they draw animals in a dark cave?

If it was just about appetite, they wouldn’t have drawn animals they didn’t eat.

From the dawn of Fukushima to the darkness of night.

The hominins’ awe toward life.

From the beginning of the nuclear age to the future.

Time passes and rushes by in multilayers.

I gave this painting a subtitle, “Trinity.”

The name of the first nuclear test by humanity.

We don’t need a “Trinity” like this.

Animals and plants that live together in ancient times and today,

I want to sing a hymn to all living beings.
